Sustainable Funding

Medrwn Môn works to ensure that the third sector is thriving and sustainable, and that organisations secure and generate the resources they need to survive, thrive and remain relevant in the future. 

Medrwn Môn provides the following: 

Information, signposting, guidance and development support in order to increase the capacity of organisations to secure and increase income, connecting you with specialist information and advice, based on identified needs.

Identifies and promotes good practice and innovation across Anglesey: Facilitates networking and intelligence sharing to raise awareness of effective and innovative practices.

Practical services: Provides access to locally, regionally or nationally negotiated benefits and signposts to sources of practical assistance/support.

Learning and development:  Delivers a programme of learning and development to build the capacity of organisations to effectively manage resources.

Enabling collaboration: Builds strong relationships with funders and promotes collaborative working.

Medrwn Môn can support you through your funding journey, whatever direction it may take, at a pace suited to you. Our services are FREE and our approachable and experienced funding advisors provide:

  • Help to develop a funding plan to manage your future fundraising activities
  • Help to identify funders such as Charitable Trusts, the Lottery and other grant-making bodies who may fund your work
  • Free funding application checks and guidance on completing forms
  • A wide range of Information Sheets covering all aspects of funding
  • Support to help generate income from other sources such as trading, service delivery and other social enterprises
  • Funding surgeries around the county to give one to one support 
  • Support to raise money through donations (individual & corporate) with support on Gift Aid, legacies & appeals
  • Management of small grant schemes for Anglesey organisations
  • Events and training
